Celebrating togetherness

Four decades ago, we passed a major milestone, TOGETHER—as in being actually, physically, contemporaneously in the same place. The Old Campus...without masks. In the spring of 2021, we assembled once again, but this time our togetherness took on a global scale. We have the video to prove it. Gathering virtually

Although Yale canceled in-person reunions in spring 2021, we gathered—and celebrated—nonetheless. Your 40th Class Reunion Committee planned a cornucopia of online events that took advantage of our unusual opportunity to reunite virtually—without the constraints of geography or the time limits of a single weekend.

The 40th reunion was a big success. Technical glitches and all, the online format provided multiple fun ways to renew old connections and make new ones, highlight some of the enormous talent in our class, provide updates on the Yale of today and tomorrow, and help us all make the most of the years as we look forward.
